INTERNATIONAL CASE COMPETITIONS

An opportunity to travel to incredible host cities and represent UNSW on the global stage.

International Case Competitions (ICCs) are organised by universities around the world who welcome teams of students to represent their schools and compete head-to-head with some of the brightest minds across the globe.

Recognised under the UNSW Elite Athletes, Performers and Leaders (EAPL) program, competitors tackle business issues faced by the world’s most influential organisations and are challenged to push the boundaries of their creativity and critical thinking. ICCs also provide an opportunity for students to travel to amazing host cities and establish a global network.

“The case competition was not only challenging, but gave us the opportunity to learn outside of the classroom. We met the most inspirational global group of students and made close friends that we’re very excited to visit on future travels.”

UCC has established itself as a strong ICC competitor having participated in competitions from the US, Canada, Denmark, New Zealand, Thailand, the Netherlands and many more. UCC is responsible for the initial selection for these teams and their training, while the UNSW Business School is responsible for final team selection.

In addition to training and selecting students to represent UNSW overseas, UCC also works closely with the UNSW Business School and the Queensland University of Technology in organising the Australian Undergraduate Business Case Competition (AUBCC) - Australia’s most renowned international case competition.
