MACQUARIE CAPITAL BOARDROOM PITCH

The 12th annual Boardroom Pitch, made possible by Macquarie Capital

What is the Macquarie Capital Boardroom Pitch?

The Macquarie Capital Boardroom Pitch (MCBP) is a student case competition that simulates the work of an investment banking advisor. Participants work in teams to analyse a complex corporate scenario—often involving a hypothetical or recent M&A transaction—and present strategic recommendations to a panel of judges from Macquarie Capital. The boardroom-style format allows judges to ask questions throughout the presentation, mirroring the high-stakes, time-sensitive nature of real-world corporate finance.

What is a Boardroom Pitch?

Each team presents their case in a timed pitch, where judges can ask questions at any point—just like a real boardroom setting.
