What have ICC Squad Members been reading?

(Term 1 ‘22 Edition)

Written by Hannabeth Marchant

Why do people love reading?

Some say that reading is the way to go as it is cheaper than beer, while others are infatuated with the power it has to educate us to see the world from a new perspective. As UCC sees the best and brightest students participate in their prestigious and rigorous program, maybe analysing their informational diet is something that may benefit us all.

Most consulting companies publish reading lists that are sworn by business leaders that grind out PowerPoints in record time while using only their keyboard to crunch out their finances.  But what are the future consultants reading, and what do they recommend others to read?

To investigate the informational diet of UCC, a form was created that would ask members for their recommendations concerning different topics varying from consulting books to books that were helpful in drowning out the sorrows that ultimately come along with university. From this, the data was collated and analysed. Enjoy the recommendations from UCC.
